Willow
Into Miss Hawthorn’s neat and orderly art class, enters a wildly creative student named Willow. In an environment where conformity and imitation are encouraged, young Willow views art as opportunity to set her imagination free! Willow celebrates creativity, the transformative power of art, and the impact of one little girl. Bringing Willow to life is illustrator Cyd Moore, whose delightful watercolor paintings will ignite the creativity in all ages.

Denise Brennan-Nelson
Denise Brennan-Nelson is a Michigan native and multi-award winning children's book author of thirteen titles. She wrote her first children’s book, Buzzy the Bumblebee, after discovering that aeronautically, bumblebees should not be able to fly. She felt it was a wonderful way to inspire people to “bee-lieve” in themselves and their dreams. Her story, Willow, about a little girl who colors outside the lines, thinks outside the box and ends up awakening the creativity of her by-the-book art teacher, was chosen for the Oprah Book Club Kids’ Reading List in 2010.
