New author Darrin Millar is a dad of many talents. He’s a storytelling soccer coach and an expert cake-baking worm-hooker. He’s a heck of a wagon-puller, and on occasion he’s been known to let his girls paint his toes the prettiest shade of pink. He’s the king of his daughters’ tea parties and, for a while, he’s even Prince Charming, but then, life’s about change, so when the day comes that his kids don’t need him quite like they used to—he’ll wait. Darrin Millar
Darrin Millar is the father of two young daughters who he uses as the inspiration for his book, “Daddy Can You?” Millar has been an elementary school teacher for 19 years, primarily in the first grade, and also has been a high school swim coach for more than 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree in education from Oakland University and his master’s degree in early childhood education from Saginaw Valley State. He has been married for 15 years and lives with his wife and daughters in Michigan.
