Leon & Lulu wins ARTS Award

The ARTS Awards, presented each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, is the premier awards program for the decorative accessories industry and recognizes excellence from retailers, manufacturers, sales representatives and designers.
The Dallas Market Center, the world’s largest wholesale merchandise resource, and the Accessories Resource Team (ART), a trade organization dedicated to promoting the decorative home accessories industry announced the winners of the 20th annual ARTS Awards during a gala event held on Saturday, January 17. Winners are decided by industry leaders in high-end manufacturing, sales and retail.
Mary Liz Curtin and Stephen Scannell, owners of Leon & Lulu, are delighted to see their popular destination store recognized nationally, and even more delighted with the warm reception they have received from shoppers from all across the Metropolitan area since their opening April 1, 2006. “We have been in the black since our fourth month in business, far ahead of our projections” states Curtin.
