Fall Artists' Market Dates Sunday, August 29, 11am – 5pm Tuesday, August 31, 3pm – 8pm Leon & Lulu is delighted to celebrate local artists' work with our Fall Artists' Market. There is no admission fee to attend or exhibit. While some artists from the previous Market will return, more than half the exhibitors will be new to the Market to ensure that the greatest possible number of artists can participate for the first time. The Fall Artists' Market will take place on Sunday, August 29th and Tuesday, August 31st. Submissions for the Fall Artists' Market will be accepted through August 1st. Please resize all JPEG photos to 800 pixels or less at 72dpi. Details the artists need to know before submitting his or her entry: 1. All work must be hand made in the USA or Canada and the artist must be in attendance. 2. You agree to set retail prices that are no higher than the retails you charge on your Web site, Etsy or at other craft fairs. 3. Leon & Lulu will ring up all sales through the store registers. We will take care of packaging (unless you have a very delicate item and would prefer to do it yourself), credit card fees, collecting Michigan State sales tax and everything else to do with the transactions. 4. We will charge a 40% gallery fee for all items sold. Checks for 60% of your total sales will be mailed within seven days of the end of the Market. 5. Set up for most items is Sunday at 9am, followed by a light breakfast reception. Doors open at 11. Artists exhibiting wall art, please make an appointment to hang your work early Saturday morning.
